Bakugan Dragonoid

For those who are unfamiliar, Bakugan is an inventive strategy game based on the popular anime TV series, "Bakugan: Battle Brawlers." It pits a variety of "Bakugan warriors" against each other for points. The Bakugan Dragonoid themselves are magnetic, spring-loaded marbles that -- when exposed to a metal "gate card" -- burst open to reveal a fearsome warrior. The toy comes in the box as separate figures and step by step instructions are necessary to aassemble the Maximus Dragonoid. Assembly took about 20 minutes, the first time. Instructions are only graphical drawings and not too easy to follow.

Once assembled the figure is not as big as I had anticipated on the packaging. Expected the toy to be bigger in size when put together(especially for the price paid), but my son loves it. Easy to understand instructions on how to assemble and quite easy to do. I guess you have to be a Bakugan fan to understand how "cool" this toy really is. Each of the seven Bakugan that compose Bakugan Dragonoid can be used individually in the strategy game. Avid players will be happy to know that this set also includes a special ability card, which will come in handy when you're devising a strategy to topple your enemy.

Bakugan themselves are the most sought features in this Maxus Dragonoid. The traps that come with this toy are unique and have their own importance. It certainly will give you kid an excellent time and moreover you are getting 7 toys in one, therefore it won't burn hole in your pocket.

My child received this for their 7th birthday and loved it! However, they love all the Bakugan stuff, so that's not so surprising. That this can be connected to make one big toy is pretty cool, and more single Bakugan balls are coming out that can connect to these also. Bakugan is doing a good job of keeping their ideas fresh, and creative.
